This year we're bringing something new, to make handicap events more appealing, and get more people involved in grad racing - the Graduate Winter Tour 2023/24!
We've picked 6 winter handicap events, 2 up North, 2 in the Midlands, and 2 down South - so there should be at least a couple of events within a reasonable distance for the travelling-challenged among us.
Northern Events:
Guy Fawkes Pursuit Race - 5th November 2023 - Leigh & Lowton SC
Brass Monkey - 27th December 2023 - Yorkshire Dales SC
Midland Events:
Draycote Dash - 18th-19th November 2023 - Draycote SC
Steve Nicholson Trophy - 27th January 2024 - Northampton SC
Southern Events:
Datchet Flyer - 9th-10th December - Datchet SC
King George Gallop - 20th January 2024 - King George SC
From these 6 events, we'll extract the Graduate results, and have our own traveller's league, with 2 discards and 4 events to count over the full series.
We hope to get some prizes for overall results, as well as northern, southern, and midland winners, these are still TBC.
